‘Noren’ is part of a collection of work designed for an exhibition at Botany, a shop and florist located on Chatsworth Road in East London. The artwork was largely inspired by three weeks exploring Japan in 2017. A ‘Noren’ is a traditional Japanese fabric divider hung between rooms, on walls, in doorways, or in windows. They come in a vast array of beautiful colours and patterns, the inspiration behind this design.
